New Phase of SC Immigration Reform Act Takes Effect July 1

Effective July 1, 2010, South Carolina businesses that employ less than 100 workers must verify the legal state of all new employees under a new set of requirements. These requirements are part of the South Carolina Immigration Reform Act passed in 2008. For details on compliance, see attached.
